S & B First Team Match Report
Three weeks into the 2019 /20 season our first team have made a good start to the campaign, despite the 20 – 3 loss away to Grove Park in Match one.
Our first home match was a very close result against Liverpool Cricket Club. The match could have easily gone to S & B with both teams ending on 11 points. But, with match score line 3 -2 LCC took the five bonus points. The stand-out performance of the fixture was Arron Ken's 3 -1 victory over LCC Captain Andy Breen.

Match three was away at Manchester Northern. Our line up included, playing at number 1, the newly signed Kyle Finch. With the team we fielded we were confident of a good result.
We had a good start with Club Captain Matty Sherman's 3 -1 win against Rayaan Haq. Lucas Hughes played the rising star of North West squash, 15 year old Finnlay Withington. Having gone one down Lucas had to up his game; the extra effort proved decisive over the next three with errors from the young player proving costly. Arron Ken had another good win. Taking his points tally, thus far, to 7. Daniel Massaro and debutant Kyle Finch both came close in hard fought contests both losing but gain valuable points.
